BOOKING CONDITIONS ALPENCHALETS ALLGÄU

The following booking conditions become part of the accommodation contract between the guest and STEINFELS-MAYER GbR – “Alpenchalets Allgäu” – in the event of a booking. They regulate the contractual relationship in addition to the statutory provisions.

1. Prices and services

  • The prices stated on our websites are final prices including statutory VAT and all ancillary costs, unless otherwise stated.

  • The visitor’s tax is not included in the price and will be charged by us.

  • Prices for firewood and for the use of the washing machine and dryer can be found in the current price list in the vacation home or laundry room.

  • Final cleaning & damage: The apartment/holiday home must be left in a tidy condition on departure. This includes the cleaning of used dishes, the disposal of garbage and the emptying of garbage cans. If soiling or damage is found that goes beyond the usual standard, we reserve the right to charge for the costs of intensified cleaning, repair or replacement of items. In addition, an administrative fee of at least € 70.00 will be charged.

  • Deposit: Alpenchalets Allgäu may require a reasonable deposit for the rented accommodation. This must be paid before arrival and will be refunded within 7 working days of departure if the accommodation is in good condition.

  • Parking: Guests must park in the free parking spaces specified in the information folder/welcome email. Additional vehicles must be registered. Depending on capacity, additional parking spaces can be rented for a surcharge of € 30.00 per vehicle per day. It is prohibited to park vehicles in areas not designated for this purpose.

  • Loss of keys: If a key is lost, the guest is obliged to bear the costs for replacing the entire locking system and for the production of new keys.

  • Vouchers & rebookings: Vouchers are only valid once and per promotion. A rebooking of an existing booking is possible for a fee of €70.00 per transaction.

2. payment

The due date for payment of the deposit, balance and security deposit depends on the agreement made between the guest and “Alpenchalets Allgäu”. If no special agreement has been made, the entire accommodation price, including charges for additional costs and additional services, must be paid at the beginning of the stay. Payments must be made in cash, by credit card or by bank transfer. Payments in foreign currencies, by crossed check or by bank transfer after the stay are not possible.

3. withdrawal or non-arrival

Cancellation or non-arrival is based on the agreement made between the guest and “Alpenchalets Allgäu”. If no special agreement has been made, the following applies:

  • Bookings can be canceled free of charge up to four weeks before arrival.

  • If you cancel within four weeks before arrival, we will charge 80% of the booking value if the apartment cannot be rebooked for this period.

  • If you cancel or do not arrive within one week before arrival, we will charge 100% of the booking value.

  • In the event of late arrival or early departure, the full price will be charged.
    We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

4. right of withdrawal

In the case of contracts for the provision of accommodation services for leisure purposes, if the entrepreneur guarantees a specific time or period for the provision of the services, there is no right of withdrawal in accordance with Section 312g (2) No. 9 BGB. This means that you as a consumer cannot cancel your booking.

5. arrival and departure

Arrival should take place between 15:00 and 20:00. The following applies to later arrivals: The guest must notify “Alpenchalets Allgäu” by the agreed time of arrival at the latest if he/she is arriving late or, in the case of stays lasting several days, only wishes to move into the booked accommodation on the following day. If no notification is made in due time, “Alpenchalets Allgäu” is entitled to book the accommodation elsewhere. For the period of non-occupancy, the provisions in section 3 apply. We request departure by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure at the latest. A late check-out for our apartment is bookable. (Use of the apartment until 6 p.m., only bookable at short notice) On the day of departure, the apartment must be left in a tidy condition, used dishes must be cleaned, garbage / bottles must be disposed of.

6. bringing dogs, animals
(1) Pets are not allowed in our hotel.

7. smoking and fire protection
(1) To protect the furnishings and the health of subsequent guests, smoking is strictly prohibited in all interior rooms of our Alpenchalet & vacation home, vacation apartment.
(2) Due to the increased risk of fire in wooden houses and the location in the countryside, smoking is expressly prohibited on the roof terrace and on all balconies.
(3) We ask smoking guests to use the designated areas in the open air, for example by the bench at the entrance. Ashtrays are available there. Throwing away cigarette butts on the property is prohibited.
(4) In the event of non-compliance, we reserve the right to charge a cleaning and deodorization fee of at least €150.

8. use of electricity for electric vehicles
Charging electric vehicles (e.g. e-cars, plug-in hybrids, e-scooters) via the vacation property’s power grid is strictly prohibited. This applies to all sockets inside and outside (including balconies and terraces) the accommodation. In the event of a violation, a flat-rate contractual penalty of € 80.00 per day or partial day of charging will be due. In addition, we reserve the right to charge separately for the actual damage to the electricity supply and other costs for any damage to the electrical installation.

9 Liability of the landlord
(1) The landlord is liable within the framework of the statutory provisions for the proper provision of the agreed services.
(2) There is no liability for items that the guest brings into the accommodation. This does not apply to grossly negligent or intentional breach of duty by the landlord.
(3) The liability of the landlord for damages not caused to the person of the guest is limited to intent and gross negligence, unless essential contractual obligations are violated.

10. data protection
We collect and process your personal data only for the execution of the accommodation contract. For further information, please refer to our privacy policy on our website.

11. severability clause
Should any provision of these GTC be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
